Item Acceptance
D&D Junk Removal takes furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, hot tubs, sheds, construction debris, yard waste and general household clutter — 51+ common items across 7 categories. The crew does all the lifting from anywhere on the property. The only things we cannot take are hazardous materials: wet paint, fuels, chemicals, propane and asbestos.

The items people ask about most, each with the actual price, the disposal fee if there is one, and how the crew gets it out of the house.
Everything on this list is hazardous or legally restricted. A licensed transfer station will turn it away, so no junk removal company can legally haul it in a standard truck — if one offers to, that is a red flag.
Flammable liquid — transfer stations refuse it. Dried, empty cans are fine.
Regulated liquid waste; needs a licensed hazmat facility.
Pressurized and explosive under compaction. Most hardware stores take them back.
Solvents, pesticides and pool chemicals require hazardous-waste handling.
Requires a licensed abatement contractor by law — we cannot legally touch it.
Sharps, medications and biological waste follow a separate disposal chain.
Unsafe in a compacting truck. Your local police department accepts them.
A few items carry a disposal surcharge because the transfer station bills us for them separately: Flatscreen TV, Box/CRT TV, Mattress, Box spring, AC unit, Paint can (dry/empty only), Tire, Battery, Extra weight/difficult access. Each surcharge is listed with its amount on the pricing page, and all of them are disclosed on-site before anything is loaded.
